Surf Tricks #101

Below here listed some famous tricks,  try it, experience it and feel it.
Barrel
The sport of riding the edge or on the crest of a wave. Specifically while standing and/or lying on a surfing board. The trick being to ride along the tunnel of a wave, also called surfboarding. What the dictionary won’t tell you is that this is one of, if not the hardest and most dangerous feats to do in the sport of surfing. It's not just the timing of riding the 'barrel' or wave that is important, it is also staying with it. You've seen those huge waves and the opening that forms as the water rushes to the shore. Inside that hole, that crest is where most surfers want to be.

Big Air

Carve

The surf carve is a great power move that you should learn if you want to be known as an all round surfer. Its all well and good being able to nail airs and spins but if you cant do power surfing moves like carves you will never have the full package.

Hang ten

Hang ten. To the general public, “hang Ten” is a term that has become synonymous with old school surfing as both a fashion statement and iconic catch phrase, but to actual surfers, it’s a serious longboard maneuver that takes style, grace, and balance. In some ways, it’s magical.
